The Siege of Clonmel 2
Lucky Mo Wins Siege Of Clonmel after winning the Omaha 7 Max and Keith Touhey Retains Monsterstack
Tomas Geleziunas completed an amazing weekend for him in Clonmel by taking down the Omaha 7 Max, the Main Event and €20,000 on Sunday night. Tommy G or Lucky Mo, depending on your preference, has been a major force in Irish poker since he swapped Lithuania for Navan a number of years ago, and a big Irish Poker Tour victory was always on the cards.
Oleksii Bekh, originally from The Ukraine, has played a number of Tour events over the last couple of years but his €12,000 for second place was by far his biggest score and he was suitably delighted, as was the ever popular Aidan Hynes who rolled his way to €8,000 for third.
Keith Touhey is always good for a result in a side event and Clonmel is proving a happy hunting ground for the wee man. He won the Monsterstack here at the Siege of Clonmel 1 and he retained his title in fine style beating Emmett Mullin in the heads up.
The Talbot Hotel proved a great venue with all tournaments bulging at the seams. The IPT will return with Siege of Clonmel 3.
Are we looking at the chip leader?!
Collin Ryan just took down a huge pot with his pocket 99s on a board of 782 getting called all in by AQ turn 5 and river 6 for the straight for a one million pot!
Getting lucky!
I raised preflop with AK off to 4,500 with the blinds 500/1K and one limper! Got one caller QhJh7S board I’ve done a continuation bet of 5,500 he pushes all in! I take the gamble he throws over Kh10h. He’s got the flush draw 10c on the turn and 10d on river giving me the straight bringing me back to 54K stack. Get in!
Not a good start!
I’ve entered into the Cotton Club Monsterstack and already lost half my stack to AQ on a draw! Let’s hope I can build it back up! There is already 107 entries and a prize pool of €13,208 with still two hours of late registration this event is going have a cracking prize pool!

The bubble has burst in the main event at Siege of Clonmel II! The whooping total prize pool of €91,375 getting divided amongst the 56 players. Who will be taking home first prize of €20,000 and trophy 🏆
