Day 7 of the PartyPoker Tour Manchester felt a little bit like the meeting that took place between Mr Rolls and Mr Royce back in 1904. The pair met at the Midland Hotel in Manchester and, two years later, Rolls-Royce Ltd was formed.

What crazy correlation is she going to come up with now, you might wonder?

Well, it just so happens that yesterday, all the members of the PartyPoker Tour Team and Ambassadors were finally under the same roof. Yes, I realise we were still missing a few important faces in Joe Beevers, Glenn Brown and Niall Farrell. Firstly, they were deeply missed, and secondly, that completes the list of Team members and Ambassadors attending PartyPoker Tour Manchester.

As with most meetings, after the initial hellos, hugs and catching up, everyone got down to business, so let’s have a quick look at what happened during the day.

At midday, Day 1B of the £100,000 GTD £500 Main Event kicked off and what a turnout it was. PartyPoker Tour Team members Natalie Bromley, Dani Garcia, Sam Acheampong, Rebecca Hardisty and Barry Carter, PartyPoker Ambassador Matt Staples, PartyPoker Tour regulars Dr Angela Rogan, Angelo Avanzato, Darach Rogan and Oliver Hutchins, Paddy Power PRO Dara O’Kearney, PartyPoker Tour Manchester 2025 Main Event Champion Deniz Orhan, and freshly crowned PartyPoker Tour Manchester 2026 Mini Main Event Champion Anwar Kanj all joined in the fun.

This second flight attracted a total of 127 entries, with 32 players making it through to Day 2. PartyPoker Tour Team members Barry Carter and Dani Garcia, as well as PartyPoker Ambassador Matt Staples, all made it through to Day 2. The top chip leaders of this flight were Karl Roberts with 506,000 chips, Ronnie Marland with 477,000 chips and Nicholas Tate with 363,000 chips.

The Main Event was not the only show in town.

At 5 pm, Day 1A of the £20,000 GTD £250 PLO Masters Main Event was also underway. The fantastic JJ Hazan, fresh off a flight from sunny Croatia, was on hand to welcome players as they arrived, as was PartyPoker Ambassador Jaime Staples. The flight attracted 48 entries, with 13 players making it through to Day 2. The top chip leaders were Osman Mustanoglu with 598,000 chips, Andrew Norman with 301,000 chips and Justin Devonport with 265,000 chips.

As if that wasn’t enough poker for one day, there was still one more flight of the Main Event to go.

At 8 pm, Day 1C Turbo of the £100,000 GTD Main Event got underway. The turbo flight attracted 47 entries, with 15 players securing their place in Day 2. PartyPoker Tour Team member Barbara Jimenez, PartyPoker Tour Manchester 2025 Main Event Champion Deniz Orhan, as well as Paddy Power PRO Dara O’Kearney, were all in attendance, with the latter two making it through to Day 2.

The top chip leaders were Andrew Wilson with 354,000 chips, Chris Bartlett with 300,000 chips and Alex Montgomery with 244,000 chips.

And finally, to close Day 7 in style, we had one final tournament: the Poker.PRO Saturday Party Madness NLH Red River Bounty. The tournament attracted a total of 72 entries, generating a prize pool of £1,800. The likes of Dr Angela Rogan, her son Darach Rogan, Jordan Caplan, Steffan Stroffek, PartyPoker Tour Team members Sam “Hooooooold” Acheampong, Natalie Bromley, Barny Boatman and Rebecca Hardisty all joined in the Saturday madness.

As the field narrowed, it was PartyPoker Tour Team members Natalie Bromley and poker legend Barny Boatman who found themselves heads-up for the title. Ultimately, it was Barny Boatman who came out on top, collecting his first PartyPoker Tour trophy and adding yet another title to an already remarkable poker career.

We are now entering the business end of the festival. The trophies are getting closer, the pressure is building, and the finish line is finally coming into view.
