Another day and another fact; one of the symbols that represents Manchester, and one that you will see across the city, is the Manchester Bee. The train network takes its name from it, and the Manchester Bee statue represents the city’s industrious history, hardworking spirit and resilience, especially after the 2017 Manchester Arena bombing.

In fact, just like the Manchester Bees, Casino Manchester235 was packed with poker players working hard, bee-style, to make their way through it all and get to the finish line. PartyPoker Tour Team members and ambassadors were all in the house.

So let’s see what they and the rest of the players got up to on Day 4 of the PartyPoker Tour Manchester stop.

At midday, the last flight of the £50,000 GTD £150 Mini Main Event kicked off. This final flight attracted a total of 114 entries, with 17 players making it through to Day 2. In the field, we saw many familiar faces, including PartyPoker Tour Team members Sam “Hoooooooold” Acheampong, Barbara Jimenez and Natalie Bromley, and partypoker Championship Malta winner Oliver Hutchins, who were not fortunate enough to make it through to Day 2. In fact, Natalie bubbled yet again. Next time will be better!

Some familiar faces that did make it through to Day 2 were the likes of PartyPoker Tour Team member Barry Carter and Irish poker legend Dr Angela Rogan. The top chip leaders of this flight were Ashley Morrison with 882,000 chips, followed by James Buckley with 617,000 chips and, last but not least, PartyPoker Ambassador Matt Staples with 380,000 chips.

At 3 pm, the PLO Masters NLH/PLO tournament was underway. The tournament attracted a total of 64 entries and generated a total prize pool of £5,440. Familiar faces included Natalie Bromley, Sam Acheampong and Oliver Hutchins. In the end, Lewis Henderson collected yet another coveted trophy, making him the player with the most trophies under his belt on the PartyPoker Tour so far, along with £1,780 in prize money and, of course, the glory.

At 6 pm, Day 2 of the Mini Main Event commenced. The event attracted a total of 668 entries, generating a prize pool of £84,000 and comfortably smashing the £50,000 GTD. 100 players took their seats, and the battle commenced. The top chip leaders were Henry Owen with 907,000 chips, Ashley Morrison with 882,000 chips and Karl Roberts with 782,000 chips.

Many familiar faces also entered Day 2 with dreams and hopes, including PartyPoker Tour Team members Barry Carter and Rebecca Hardisty, as well as PartyPoker Ambassadors Matt and Jaime Staples, and, the cherry on the cake, previous PartyPoker Tour Mini Main Event winner Ion Oprea.

Play went down to the final 10, with the top chip leaders being Nim Rattan with 4.88 million chips, Anwar Kanj with 3.48 million chips and Kye Hamilton with 3.37 million chips.

At 7 pm, the NLH Bounty started. The tournament attracted a total of 75 entries and generated a prize pool of £9,000. Familiar faces included Angela Rogan, PartyPoker Tour Team members Rebecca Hardisty, Barbara Jimenez and Sam Acheampong, and PartyPoker Tour Manchester Main Event winner Deniz Orhan, who was heading for another trophy. In the end, though, it was Annalee Barlow who won the tournament, taking home the trophy and £2,095 in prize money.

As you might remember, we also have two winners from the 2026 Football World Cup Prediction Tournament for the England vs Croatia game! What a night! 57 players entered the tournament, but it was Nim Rattan and Deniz Orhan who both won an entry to the NLH Turbo £2,000 Added Value Prize Draw tournament (8 pm on 18th June).
