PartyPoker Tour Hits Spanish Soil for the first time since 2022

Season 2 of the PartyPoker Tour is fully underway. The opening stop in Sheffield produced 1,695 entries and a total prizepool of £287,695, and it also gave us –10 weather, so it is only logical that the organisers would want to warm their cockles by heading south.
Next stop: Casino Admiral in the wondrous city of Seville, in southern Spain.
PartyPoker hasn’t been on Spanish territory since 2022, so the excitement is real. It also goes hand in hand with the “fiesta” mentality that Spain is so well known for all over the world. The last time PartyPoker held a live event in Spain was in June 2022, when partypoker MILLIONS Europe took over Casino Barcelona as part of the partypoker LIVE series. That festival belonged to a different era of the brand, so this week marks the first Spanish stop of the PartyPoker Tour.
But let’s get down to the nitty gritty.
The schedule is headlined by the €500 Main Event with a €100,000 GTD, alongside the €150 Mini Main Event with €50,000 GTD, and the return of the PLO Masters Main Event with a €250 buy-in. Alongside those headline tournaments there are plenty of side events running throughout the week, including an NLH KO, the Poker.PRO Friday Party Madness Crazy Pineapple Bounty, a Mystery Bounty, a €1,000 High Roller, and the Tennessee Hold’em Seville Championship. You can find the full schedule here.
As always, the tour will bring together a mix of travelling regulars and online qualifiers, with a minimum of 200 players expected to qualify online and join the field in Seville.
A full lineup of PartyPoker Tour Team Members and Ambassadors will also be in attendance this week. Players will see familiar faces including Barry Carter, Dani Garcia, Glenn Brown, Joe Beevers, Natalie Bromley, Sam Acheampong, Rebecca Hardisty, Jaime Staples, and Matt Staples. We are also joined by Barbara Jimenez as part of the team, alongside Niall Farrell, one of the newest additions to the PartyPoker Tour Team lineup and a legend in his own right (triple crown winner).
The media team has been expanded to provide coverage in both Spanish and English throughout the festival. Poker Red will cover the event for their Spanish audience starting on March 19th, bringing two reporters and a photographer to provide live reporting and coverage of the Mini Main Event final table and the Main Event. For English-speaking audiences, our one and only Christoffer Karlén from Poker.pro will be on the ground covering the festival throughout the week.
And it really wouldn’t be a PartyPoker Tour event without a bit of fun away from the tables. Main Event entrants and package winners will receive drink vouchers, along with players taking part in the Friday Party Madness event, because what’s a poker festival without a drink or two along the way.
On March 17th, players can also take part in a Football Prediction Tournament, where participants receive a prediction slip with 10 questions based on the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 clash between Manchester City and Real Madrid, kicking off at 21:00 CET. The winner receives a seat into the Mini Main Event Day 1D Hyper, which runs the following day at 14:00 CET.
Away from the tables, the tour continues to highlight its “No Hidden Fees” campaign, which has been a key part of the PartyPoker Tour philosophy from the very beginning. Players who want to learn more about how operators structure their tournament fees, and how retained fees work across the industry, can check out the articles being published by MTTDB here:
