🛕Almost four decades ago, when we arrived on the island of Malta for the very first Texas poker event, Casino 𝙋𝑶𝙍𝑻𝙊𝑴𝘼𝑺𝙊 was the only venue on the Mediterranean island offering this game. Everything was different back then: a small room with about ten tables, a couple more tables in the smoking area alongside other games, poker being a game “on loan,” almost sneaking into the usual casino offerings. But 𝙋𝑶𝙍𝑻𝙊𝑴𝘼𝑺𝙊 had vision and believed in poker as a sport. Over the years, through many changes, renovations, and structural revolutions, that small casino carved out of a “borrowed” parking area has now camaleonically become one of the finest European poker destinations.

This new and latest restyling feels magical, and the new 𝙋𝑶𝙍𝑻𝙊𝑴𝘼𝑺𝙊 is ready to introduce itself to players and enthusiasts alike. The best European organizations wanted to be part of this new inauguration, and we too—who were the first to ever say “shuffle up & deal” at 𝙋𝑶𝙍𝑻𝙊𝑴𝘼𝑺𝙊—are here today, nearly four decades later, celebrating its coming of age!
