The latest stop on the Irish Poker Tour came to an exciting conclusion at the Green Isle Hotel as players gathered for the final day of a festival packed with action. With more trophies up for grabs and the culmination of the Main Event on the cards, it was set to be a day to remember.

Starting off the day was the €100k for €100 Main Event Day 1H Hyper, giving players one last chance to qualify for the Main Event Final. This flight saw 196 entries, bringing the prize pool to €128,265. From this flight, the biggest stack was bagged by Dikhtiarenko Vadym, who finished with 383,000 chips.

The stage was then set for the big one, the €100k for €100 Main Event Final, from a massive field of 1,758 entries. Two hundred players took their seats, each hoping for a run to remember. As play progressed, it reached that all-too-bittersweet moment familiar to any festival. Patrice Goberville bubbled the event, leaving the rest of the field to breathe a sigh of relief as they now knew they would not be leaving empty-handed.

Next up was the Paddy’s 400, which drew a total of 56 entries. Keeping one eye on the progression of the Main Event Final, players battled it out for a trophy. IPT regulars Killian Farrell and Kieth Touey were unable to make it through to the final stages. When it got down to three players, a deal was made, meaning the money was split evenly with €505 left to be played for. John Farrell came in third with €4,300, Neil Higgins finished second again for €4,300. Having already won the Saturday Omaha 250 taking home the trophy and €5,305 was Aleksandras Nagreckis.

The last event to begin was the Monsterstack, with 105 players deciding to have one more roll of the dice. The prize pool for this event was €12,600. When it got down to 12 players, the payouts were adjusted, meaning twelfth place didn’t walk away empty-handed. Micheal Doherty finished third, pocketing €1,600. In heads-up, a deal was made, Sean Sheanon and Peter Hyland each bagging €2,875, with chip leader Peter Hyland ultimately taking home the trophy.

As the night progressed, so did the €100k for €100 Main Event Final. In this event, ACR Poker offered a Last Longer promotion, with Robbie Bryant holding on the longest and being rewarded with a $2,650 Venom ticket. The Venom is one of the biggest online poker events in the world, featuring a massive multi-million-dollar guaranteed prize pool and attracting thousands of players chasing life-changing payouts. In the wee hours of the morning the podium was filled. It was Leo Reid, who bowed out in third for €7,000. In the heads up a deal was done which meant Robbie Bryant finished second for €15,665, and taking home the trophy and €15,000 was Marius Tersanszki.
