Hengtao Zhao

Hengtao Zhu jammed 1,500,000 from the cutoff and was looked up by Des McGrady in the big blind.

Zhu had A♥6♦ but had walked into McGrady’s A♠A♣. No help arrived on the J♥K♦7♥10♦J♣ runout.

The players are now looking at ICM numbers for a potential deal, with the average stack around 15 big blinds.

Robbie Bryant was all-in for 1,600,000 with ace-ten and at risk versus Hengtao Zhu pocket kings. However the flop came ace-high to send him a double-up.

Zhu however quickly obtained two double-ups quickly thereafter to move back up to 1,500,000.

Damian Moran was all in for 1,700,000 and at risk versus Daniel Blake.

Derek Baker

Daniel Blake opened to 275,000 from early position and received calls from Dave Smith and Derek Baker in middle position.

On the K♠10♣4♦ flop, Blake continued with a bet of 140,000, and both his opponents called.

The Q♦ turn was checked to Baker, who slid out a bet of 575,000.

Blake check-jammed for the covering stack, Smith quickly folded and Baker quickly called for around 1,500,000.

Baker had the nut straight but Blake still had outs to the flush draw and chop possibilities.

The Q♦ river completed the board, giving Blake the flush and sending the unlucky Baker to the rail in ninth.

Darragh McDonnell

Darragh McDonnell jammed from under the gun for 1,180,000 and was looked up by Dave Smith in the big blind.

Dave Smith: 10♠10♥

McDonnell was behind in a race and Smith flopped a set on the 10♦8♣6♠ flop, although McDonnell still had a straight draw.

However the J♦7♠ turn and river were not what he required and he exited on the final table bubble. A short break will now take place while the final table is prepared. Smith is the chip leader.

Neil O’Reilly was all-in for 1,100,000 and at risk versus Dave Smith in the classic ace-king versus queens race, but he whiffed the 6♣9♣2♠5♦9♦ runout.

Santosh Shulka opened to 225,000 and was called by Damian Moran in the next seat and Hengtao Zhu in the big blind.

The A♥J♦J♣ flop was checked through.

On the 7♣ turn, Zhu led out with a bet of 300,000 which only Moran called.

The 4♣ river completed the board. After some thought, Zhu jammed with the covering stack, and Moran folded.

Fergal Coyle

Fergal Coyle moved all in for 350,000 and Santosh Shukla three-bet to 800,000. Damian Moran was in the next seat and he moved all in for 675,000, to create a three-way all-in scenario, with Shukla covering both.

Shukla looked in great shape for a double knockout but the flop came A♠J♣8♣J♠8♠, Moran scooping the pot with the top full house and the unfortunate Coyle exiting despite ending up with a full house.

Thomas Brett moved all in for 350,000 under the gun and was called by Darragh McDonnell in the big blind.
