Benoit Gilles Eliminated in 14th Place (€1,250)

Summer in Dublin Final
Level: 1 | Blinds: 30K-60K | BB Ante: 60000
Ave. Stack: 1,913,846 - Prizepool: €129,050 - Field: 13/622

Benoit Gilles

Benoit Gilles was all-in for around 880,000 and was at risk versus Hengtao Zhu.

Benoit Gilles: KQ

Hengtao Zhu: AJ

Gilles needed help but none arrived on the 108863 runout.

As his elimination was confirmed, Gilles, sporting a very fetching Belgium football top, stood up and smiled, declaring “From Ben from Belgium, thank you to everyone, I’ve really loved playing poker in Ireland, best of luck everyone. And if everyone could send Belgium good vibes for tomorrow against France, we need it, thank you!”

His table mates gave him an enthusiastic goodbye and it was clear to see how much Benoit had enjoyed the event, fantastic to see. I’m not sure about the good vibes for Belgium I’m afraid Benoit, that might wreck a few of our regular’s bets.
