Gough Forces a Fold

Nicolas Antonio had a close call in APAT 1C!

After opening to 2,500, he was then raised by Owen Bashford to his left for a total bet of 11,000.

Antonio put all his 40,000 chips in the middle and Bashford called.

Antonio showed 10J, while Bashford turned over AQ.

The flop gave top pair to Bashford with 59Q, but it also gave an opened ended straight draw to Antonio.

Sure enough, the turn came 8, giving Antonio the straight, and left Bashford unable to recover with a final 4 on the river.
