Michael Murray went all-in pre-flop for 45,000 and was called by Victor Girod.

Murray showed 8♦10♦ and Girod 9♦9♣.

John Ian Smith raised pre-flop to 3,000, and was called by 3 players – Pauline O’Carroll, Tomaz Mezeg and Emmanuel Maguire.

After seeing A♥4♥J♣ on the flop, Smith bet 3,000 again. O’Carroll and Mezeg folded; Maguire called.

The 10♦ on the river saw Smith bet 6,000, called by Maguire.

Wang Chan went all-in pre-flop with J♥J♦ for 17000 chips, and was called by Meegan with A♠A♣.

The board ran out 9♣K♦7♦8♦9♥, giving Meegan another pile for his growing chipstack and sending Chan to the registration desks.

Gary Satelle raised pre-flop on the Button to 2200, which saw plenty of callers – including Brian Yates, to his right.

The flop came J♦2♠4♥, and after checking around, Satelle fired again – 1800 this time – which gets called by the remaining players.

The turn was a 5♦, and Satelle was checked to again – this time sending 6200 into the pot, called by two players, including Yates.

Finally, the river came 10♥ and it checked around to Satelle for a last time. He bets 11,100, which prompts a fold from the next player before getting called by Yates.

Satelle declared “Ace high!”, to which Yates responded by showing his hand: K♣J♣, taking it down with a pair of Jacks.

In the first level of play, local Stewart Samuels set the pace by taking down a pot after the turn.

Preflop action saw a middle-position raise to 1300 from Nagy Jerome, which was called by Samuels on the Button and Mark Whelan to his left.

The flop came A♦10♠7♦, which saw Jerome continue his action by betting 2100, which Samuels called and Whelan folded.

The turn then came 7♥, which Jerome checked.

Samuels put out 2,000 in chips, and Jerome threw his cards to the muck.
